AutoMobility LA 2025 is set to expand its focus on fleet technology with a new showcase highlighting breakthroughs in electrification, hydrogen fuel cells, and infrastructure development, aiming to shape the future of commercial transportation.

AutoMobility LA®, the major industry and media event connected with the Los Angeles Auto Show®, is set to expand its focus on fleet mobility through an upgraded Fleet Innovation Showcase scheduled for 2025. The event will take place on November 20 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and aims to provide an in-depth look at the latest in fleet technologies, including electrification, hydrogen, digital services, micromobility, and infrastructure development. The goal is to offer industry professionals—such as OEMs, fleet operators, and technology providers—direct access to innovations that will influence the future of commercial transportation over the next decade.

A focal point of the 2025 program will be a keynote from Voltera, a prominent developer and operator of high-performance charging infrastructure for electric and autonomous vehicle fleets. Backed by private equity firm EQT and equipped with extensive expertise in infrastructure deployment, Voltera aims to solve critical land, power, and capital challenges that hinder fleet electrification, enabling scalable growth with greater confidence. In addition, for the first time, the event will integrate the NAFA Fleet Management Association's regional meeting within its main stage program. This integration is intended to strengthen dialogue among North America's fleet industry leaders, connecting fleet operators directly with automakers and infrastructure providers.

The participant lineup includes notable OEMs and fleet service companies. Rivian will showcase its expanding portfolio of electric vans designed for commercial use. Honda is advancing hydrogen fuel cell technology with the 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV, the first production plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle in the U.S., along with its Class 8 Fuel Cell Truck Concept, which aims to deliver zero-emission operations and long-range fueling flexibility. Volkswagen will display the versatile ID. Buzz electric van, emphasizing innovation and sustainability in fleet applications. GM Envolve will present its integrated platform that combines EV, fuel-cell, telematics, and service solutions. Lithia, representing Ford Pro and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, will showcase connected vehicle solutions aimed at enhancing fleet efficiency and sustainability. Fastport will debut Honda's eQuad Prototype, an electric last-mile delivery vehicle tailored for bike-lane use, supported by its fleet-as-a-service platform.

Building on the success of the inaugural 2024 showcase, which featured a broad range of electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles, the 2025 event underscores the industry’s rapid transition towards zero-emission fleet solutions. The 2024 program highlighted electric and hydrogen vehicles across various classes, emphasizing the industry's move to reduce carbon footprints and adopt advanced digital fleet management tools.

Organizers emphasize that AutoMobility LA’s enhanced focus on fleet innovation reflects the sector’s pressing needs and growth potential. The event provides a vital platform for OEMs, technology companies, and fleet operators to exchange insights, showcase products, and forge partnerships crucial for navigating the new age of commercial mobility.
